OUT OF HOURS AND EMERGENCY SERVICES – DVE Ltd
To our lovely clients
I know that many of you will have already heard that there have been some changes to Deben Valley Equine and I hope that this letter will answer some of your questions and allay any worries or concerns you may have. Since 1st March 2022, we have been trading as Deben Valley Equine Ltd, company number 13276907.
More recently, Deben Valley Equine (DVE) and Stowe Veterinary Group (SVG) Equine Department have started working collaboratively, by sharing their equine out of hours and emergency work.
Existing clients of DVE will continue to be cared for by myself, and any vets based at our clinic in Framsden.
To you, as the client, there will be no changes to our existing services, with the exception of out of hours (OOH) or some emergency calls.
In order to facilitate OOH and emergency collaborative care, clinical information and client files will be shared between both practices. Any OOH/emergency cases will then be handed back to the client’s registered practice the following day. Please continue to contact us (DVE) if you require a vet in an emergency or OOH, and of course for all your normal appointments, medications etc., as detailed below.
You may already be familiar with SVG, based in Stowmarket, but if you are unfamiliar, or have any questions, then please do ask us.
We (DVE) continue to be located in Framsden, our phone numbers and emails remain the same and all our other services continue as normal, but if you have any questions or concerns, then again please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

During office hours (8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday), please telephone the DVE office on our usual number 01728 685123, where our friendly and familiar team will answer your call.
Out of hours you should phone 01728 685123 and your call will be answered by our answering service who pass your details immediately to me or the duty vet.

The updated Bank details and VAT number of DVE Ltd appear on all invoices and statements.
